My favorite series this year!! The storm raged violently, and the disciples struggled helplessly in the conditions they could not control. I even feel like the three star is somewhat generous for how I’m feeling right now. I was hoping to get to know the brothers a bit better and for their romances to develop more. All that being said I still really enjoyed the book as I gave it 4 stars. Slam was a very intense read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although, I will admit I felt the interactions with the other brothers a bit too few and far in between. I felt super meh about this book. This book starts out right where the last one ended at, getting right at that cliffhanger ending and explaining some things...or does it? Overally, I highly recommend this little gem. For a new author, this is a super solid first work. And as a side note there were far more typos and errors in this book than the first and it was distracting. We see more of the Night Brothers' backstory, as well as meet some new characters. We see more of Eve's powers and her love life.
